BJP MP Om Birla has been elected as the next new Speaker of the Lok Sabha. BJP MP Om Birla elected from Kota-Bundi parliamentary constituency of Rajasthan has been elected Lok Sabha member for the second time.
The election was held on Wednesday for the post of Lok Sabha Speaker, where Om Birla has been elected as the new Lok Sabha Speaker.
The win boosted its record of electoral success against Congress candidates.
Birla had also submitted a notice of his claim to the Lok Sabha Secretariat on Tuesday.
Here, Congress MP from West Bengal, Ranjana Chaudhary was elected the leader of the Lok Sabha party. Yet, the victory of BJP MP Om Birla is won by the best majority.
